He is also appreciated for his attention to customer service. Alex has also been a keen sailor for over 20 years and is able to bring to bear his perspective as a marina customer to his projects.

Dan Chamberlain
Dan has over 15 years’ experience within the marina and leisure industries, working internationally and in the UK.
He has experience as an operations manager for high-end leisure facilities, and has project managed site development that includes, feasibility studies, business planning and mobilisation of operations. His primary role is to provide marina operations input to consultancy projects and MDL development projects. Dan’s broad experience enables him to develop project requirements into solid business solutions.
Nicolas Gonzalez
Nicolas is the General Manager of Sant Carles Marina and brings to us a wealth of experience gained from the hotel and leisure industry, having held a number of senior management positions in corporate hotel chains and luxury boutique resorts.
Nicolas has been involved in the setup and operation of quality leisure facilities both in the Balearic Islands and South America before relocating back to the Spanish mainland and joining MDL.
Maxine Lane
With over 18 years at MDL and a background in market research, Maxine has extensive experience in delivering marketing campaigns that focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Her approach is based on up-to-the-minute market and industry data, backed up by real-life experience gained from living in a family of passionate boaters.
She now delivers highly effective marketing campaigns across the marketing mix for both B2C and B2B audiences. Maxine is a member of the British Marine’s Market Research and Statistics Committee and holds a CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing.
