We are passionate about creating a vision and developing first-class marine leisure destinations for you. Anchored in Britain, we offer bespoke marina consultancy services across the globe.
Right from an initial enquiry or conversation, we’ll keep your business confined to the relevant team members. All our projects are bound by confidentiality clauses in the terms of engagement or under a separate non-disclosure agreement. We work professionally and have the systems in place to make sure that sensitive information remains confidential.
In practice, there are very few instances where conflicts of interest could occur. But you can rely on us to work professionally and give honest unbiased advice. If we do see a conflict of interest of any kind, we’ll tell you about it and, if necessary, respectfully decline opportunities. We are always happy to advise clients where there is no direct competition, for example marinas operating in a different geographical location to our marinas or operating in a different market. We are also keen to talk to other operators where there might be an opportunity for collaboration.
Yes. We also hold Investors in People accreditation.
Around 265 in our UK marinas and head office.
We normally provide services for a fee but for some opportunities we are prepared to provide limited input for no fee during the early development stages if our commission includes a management role in the setting up and running of the marina or boat yard.
Yes! The operating model will depend upon where the marina is, but our services include operating marinas or providing management advice and support at any level and at any stage. Contact us and we’d be pleased to talk to you about the most appropriate way to take things forward for you.
Yes! Our team is always happy to discuss anything marina-related, so please do call or email and we’ll be pleased to share our thoughts with you free and with no obligation to take things further. We know that it takes a long time to start a marina project, so we expect to have discussions with clients about projects long before they are at a stage where consultancy work may begin.
We have experience in all aspects of planning, design, development and operation of marinas, whether for ourselves or for our clients. Our team offers everything from the initial appraisal of a marina site or existing business, through to planning the business, designing, procurement, construction and anything needed for the marina to open and operate.
The time to plan and build a marina can vary hugely, but in our experience 4 to 5 years would be the absolute minimum with 2 to 3 years to plan, design and secure all the permissions and then 1 to 2 years to build.
