PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Our project management function covers everything from implementing a new product, service or system, through to managing the design and construction of infrastructure projects in marinas. This means you can use us to manage everything from small tweaks to the way you run things, right through to creating a whole new marina or waterfront development.

We have a team of project managers experienced in all aspects of projects in the marine and marina environment. Working in the marine environment brings its own challenges such as gaining access to the site or dealing with harsh and sometimes unpredictable weather. It’s also imperative that we work in a way that protects the sensitive environment which can mean only working at certain times. Add to this the constraints of working within an operational marina or boat yard site, and the issues become even more complex to manage.

Our team are very experienced in dealing with all of this – as well as managing the risks to ensure that projects are completed within agreed timescales and budgets. We have experience, going back more than 40 years, of developing marinas and managing construction works on our own sites as well as those of our clients. Creating our brand new Sant Carles Marina in Spain, redeveloping Ocean Village in Southampton, and the installation of a new pontoon for Land Rover BAR at their Americas Cup team base in Portsmouth are all recent examples of projects that we have successfully managed.
