Returning for 2025, MDL's Green Innovator Award distinguishes products and services that are pioneering in sustainability, innovation and design. It is aimed at projects from both start-ups and established companies, and highlights suppliers who are making a special effort towards environmentally sustainable practices, products and services.
Nominations are open to every company exhibiting at The Green Tech Boat Show, or any other business / organisation you feel is a worthy winner for 2025.
Voting closes on Friday 9th May 2025 and the winner will be announced at the Show.

Arcona Yachts is a leading Swedish yacht builder known for high-performance, sustainable sailing yachts. They pioneer eco-friendly innovations, including fully electric propulsion systems and vacuum-infused hulls with bio-based resins, earning them accolades like European Yacht of the Year 2024 (Luxury Cruiser – Arcona 50) and European Yacht of the Year 2019 (Performance Cruiser – Arcona 435).
RS Electric Boats, a UK-based innovator, specialises in designing and manufacturing 100% electric, zero-emission Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs). Their flagship models, the Pulse 58 and Pulse 63, incorporate sustainable materials and cutting-edge electric propulsion systems to minimise environmental impact, earning recognition such as being shortlisted for the Innovation Award at the 2025 Motorboat Awards.
ePropulsion, founded in 2012 by engineering entrepreneurs, is a global leader in marine electric propulsion systems, offering innovative and eco-friendly outboard and inboard motors. Their dedication to sustainable marine technology has earned them multiple accolades, including the Equipment Innovation of the Year at the British Yachting Awards 2023 for their I-Series Electric Inboard Motor and the 2024 Miami Innovation Award for the eLite electric outboard motor
Flexiteek, a leader in synthetic teak decking, prioritises sustainability and innovation. Their 2024 product, Flexiteek 3, uses bio-attributed PVC, cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 80% compared to fossil-based PVC. Made with REACH-compliant phthalate-free plasticisers, it offers enhanced performance and is 100% recyclable. Using advanced technology, Flexiteek continues to evolve with boat owners' needs. Their eco-friendly approach earned a 2024 Dame Award nomination, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable decking.
PSA Prime Marine, established during the COVID-19 pandemic, has swiftly become a leader in sustainable yacht maintenance and management. Their dedication to eco-friendly practices was recognised with the Green Innovator Award at the 2024 South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show. Additionally, they received the Excellence Award from Big Business Events in 2024, highlighting their commitment to innovation and sustainability in the marine sector.
Fischer Panda UK is a leader in sustainable marine power solutions, recognised for its innovation in eco-friendly technologies. In 2022, the company was nominated for the GREENFLEET Award for Industry Innovation and collaborated with Sky News to reduce COâ‚‚ emissions, contributing to Sky News winning the Broadcast Tech Innovation Award. Fischer Panda's 2024 introduction of Integrel Solutions' advanced e-power system further underscores their commitment to green technology, making them a strong contender for the Green Innovation Award. Their dedication to sustainability was highlighted during the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show 2024, where they discussed partnerships with eco-conscious companies to promote marine life conservation. In recognition of their efforts, JDK Marine was honoured with the British Made Award in 2022, celebrating their commitment to quality and innovation.

VETUS, established in 1964, is a leading Dutch manufacturer of innovative marine systems, offering a wide range of products, including propulsion, manoeuvring, and onboard systems. In 2024, the company marked its 60th anniversary, highlighting six decades of excellence. VETUS was honoured with the Miami International Boat Show Innovation Award in 2025 for its advanced technologies like the BOW PRO Boosted 400 series thruster and Rim Drive RD160.
