Host your boat in selected MDL marinas

As an MDL berth holder, you're free to rent your boat whilst moored at the Marina to guests looking for an alternative to traditional accommodation, such as hotels and bed and breakfasts. Now you can use a booking platform of your choice like Airbnb and Booking.com, giving you the flexibility to manage your bookings for the rental fee of £1,168.46 plus VAT per year. To ensure a Premium service:

• You should ensure your guest is greeted, provided a tour of the marina and you should manage their stay.
• You will provide the Guest with clear written instructions relating to the use of all equipment located on the Boat, a list of prohibited activities and the Owners contact details so the Guest(s) can contact the Owner throughout the booking period.
• Your boat will be moved to a specific area of the Marina.
• We'll keep an eye on your boat for you.

Managing your bookings.

You must ensure that your guest is greeted, provided with a health and safety briefing, given a marina tour and you should manage their stay. You will look after the check in and check out as your guests will have full access to our marina facilities. You will manage all other aspects of your guests' stay including any cleaning and laundry requirements.

How to sign up.

To become a host all you need to do is complete the registration form below. We'll then provide you with the procedure and rules for your guests to follow. Signing up to host may include a berth movement to ensure the most suitable area can be found and a non-refundable tariff increase of £1,168.46 + VAT per year to cover the cost of the service, such as 24/7 support, and help it run smoothly.
