Kelly Trewern

Marina Manager

Kelly originally joined our Cobb’s Quay team in 2001 as Receptionist. Since then, she has enjoyed various roles at the marina, including Boatyard Coordinator and Administrator. At the start of 2022 she was promoted to Assistant Manager, before working her way up to Marina Manager. With over 20 years’ experience, Kelly brings a wealth of know-how and understanding in marina operations, management, and customer service.

Anthony McCourt

Marina Operative

Anthony joined the team in July 2023 as a Marina Operative. As a key member of the team, Anthony enjoys chatting to customers out and about and always has a smile on his face.

Blossom Smith

Administrator

Blossom is our Administrator, starting with MDL in April 2023. She has a wealth of customer service experience and is looking forward to meeting all our berth holders and helping with queries.

Dominic Ockenden

Dry Stack Operative

Dominic started with us at Cobb's Quay in April 2022 within our dry stack operation. Dominic is local to Poole and loves being in and on the water when ever possible. He also owns his own boat and has a passion for fishing.

Gary Talbot

Yard Foreman

Gary is a Cobb's Quay veteran joining the team in 1987. He is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to our yard operations with many years of experience and is always happy to help. You will find him in the boatyard operating the 40t hoist and tractor, or out on the water towing with our jet rib.

George Allen

Marina Operative

George joined the Cobb's team in February 2023 as a Marina Operative. He has experience in both the watersport and hospitality industries and is looking forward to meeting everybody and learning more about marina life.

Gorete Miller

Marina Operative

Gorete initially joined our team in April 2022 as a Receptionist after spending the last six years cruising around Europe before settling in Poole. She will be rejoining the amazing team at Cobb’s Quay as a Marina Operative just in time for the winter season and is looking forward to meeting as many customers as possible.

Ian Roberts

Dry Stack Operative

Our newest Dry Stack Operative, Ian has been working with Steve, Jason and Sam to develop his skills and is already an integral part of the team.

Jason Howell

Boatyard Operative

Jason joined the Cobb's Quay team in 2021. He is qualified to drive our forklifts and can be found working at the Dry Stack facility.

Neil Turner

Marina Operative

Neil is the longest serving team member at Cobb's Quay Marina, being with us since 1984 and offering a wealth of experience and huge knowledge of the history of the marina. Neil can be found primarily as a Marina Operative but, being multi-talented, he also stands in on the dry stack as a Banksman as well as assisting the yard team when needed. Always with a smile on his face, Neil is a valued member of the Cobb's Team.

Peter Swann

Seasonal Marina Operative

Peter loves being by or on the water and has worked for us over the last couple of summers as a Marina Operative. Peter loves to stay active and in his spare time you will find him attending various gym classes or out on the water kayaking around the coast.

Sam Webb

Dry Stack Team Leader

Sam joined the Cobb's Quay team in April 2021 as a Dry Stack Operative. He quickly trained as a driver and provides a high quality of service. Sam is a qualified RYA Yachtmaster and has previous experience helming yachts in the Mediterranean so he a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to boating. You will find Sam driving the forklift and providing service with a smile.

Scott Frame

Marina Operative

Scott joined the Cobb's Quay team in 2018. He is qualified to operate all of our yard machinery and can be found conducting our boatyard operations.

Steve Boardman

Dry Stack Team Leader

Steve joined the Cobb's Quay team in 2021 after transferring from Hamble Point Marina. He is qualified to operate our forklifts and is the Dry Stack Team Leader.

Thomas Draycott-Lovell

Dry Stack Operative

Joining our Dry Stack team alongside Sam and Dom in January 2024, Thomas comes from a marine background having studied marine engineering at college and growing up sailing in Poole Harbour. Thomas is not only a lover of boats but also is a rugby enthusiast and plays for a local team.
