Dolphin Boatyard is tucked away at the head of Galmpton Creek, three miles upriver from Dartmouth. In a sheltered position and with beautiful views across to Dittisham, it offers extensive facilities for all boat owners.

Boatyard Facilities

On-site boatyard services are delivered by Dolphin Boatyard Limited. The 7-acre dry boat storage area has space for over 300 boats and is serviced by a 65-ton hoist, one of the largest in the area, which operates from a purpose-built dock. There is also a 20-ton trailer hoist operating on a slipway. You’ll find various specialist marine tenants on site who can assist with boat repairs and maintenance. A number of summer mud moorings are available.

Pump Out Facilities

The Green Blue has developed an online map to show which marinas, boatyards and harbours provide environmental facilities such as pump out, black water/Elsen disposal, recycling, freshwater refill points, hazardous waste disposal and filtered/bunded boat washdown. Click here for the location map.

24/7 Storage

Out and About

There’s spectacular cruising both up the River Dart, with its many secluded anchorages, and along the unspoilt West Coast. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can head further afield to the Channel Islands and the North Brittany coast, both within easy reach and perfect for a weekend away.
