Hamble Point Marina Berth Holder News

We’d like to thank all our berth holders for keeping your boat with us this year, both old and new. One of the things which makes Hamble Point the place it is, are our customers and your continued support is very much appreciated.

Marina Team

Once again, another year has flown by, and we’re starting our winter lift out. We have three new yard team members, Evan, Ben H and Ben K, who have already fitted well into the team. We have two new Dry Stack Operatives, Dominic and Connor, both with forklift experience. They are currently receiving additional National Plant Operators training to meet our high standards and ensure they are fully operational by the end of November. We also have a new Dockmaster, Ethan, who has just joined us to work alongside the other team members. We still have a lot of familiar faces in the team and our door is always open.

Tenant News

MCC Marine and Parker Adams have relocated within the marina and are now based in the sales offices at the entrance of the site. We’ve also welcomed new tenants to the marina offering even more services, who include ePropulsion, Express Marine, IdealBoat.com, Infinity Logistical Solutions, Inwards, Paintworld, Vital Yacht Services and Status Marine. All our current tenants and their services can be found in our online directory.

Marina Improvements

Corrosion protection work has been undertaken this year to extend the life of the quay walls. Dredging works will commence in December and should be completed by mid-January, subject to weather. We’re also working on future projects which include improving the site entrance barriers, increasing visitor car parking areas and a new electric system on the hardstanding areas.

Marina Events

We’ve seen a number of berth holders while out and about with our trolley of treats. It was great to see many of you at the berth holders’ party we hosted with the Ketch Rigger. It was a shame the rain didn’t hold off for a couple of hours, but it was definitely an evening of good food and good company, and the weather didn’t dampen your spirits. The plan is to make next year’s party one to remember!
