Highlights at Ocean Village Marina: News and updates for our customers

We’d like to start by saying a massive thank you to all our berth holders for choosing to keep your boats with us this year. Although the sunshine didn’t always make an appearance, it's been a busy 2024 season, with over 3,600 visitor nights welcomed at the marina.

Here are some of our 2024 highlights and a taste of what's to come in 2025:

Fun and Events!

  • Festive Cheer: The talented Salvation Army band joined us for carols, mince pies, and mulled wine around our huge Christmas tree.
  • Easter Surprises: The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, spreading joy and chocolate treats to all our berth holders.
  • Boat Show: The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show saw a change of format for the annual get together, with the shoreside celebration joined by the crew of Maiden.
  • Summer Celebration: The highlight of our events calendar had to be our Summer Celebration – a pirate-themed day featuring an award-winning chef, live band, and a hair-raising charity event that raised nearly £5,000.

Awards & Recognition

We were delighted to win the prestigious Sailing Today award for ‘Marina of the Year’. This was a very proud moment for the team and a well-deserved recognition.

Investment

The South Side of the marina has been completely revamped with brand-new pontoons and smart meter technology, which has been very well received by our berth holders.

Our new breakwater pontoons are now operational and ready to welcome superyachts from around the world.

And Finally

As the season draws to a close, you can rest assured that our team will continue to look after your boat around the clock, while preparing for an exciting 2025.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your continued support. We look forward to another fantastic season ahead!

Warm regards from the Ocean Village Marina Team.
