Highlights at Queen Anne's Battery: News and updates for our customers
Let’s start with a huge thank you from all of us here at Queen Anne’s Battery. As cherished and dedicated berth holders, we hope our services and facilities have exceeded your expectations over the past year. It’s been a joy to see you making the most of your time here, finding sanctuary with your vessel both in the marina and at sea with family and friends.
Despite the inconsistent weather this season, it was inspiring to see so many of you embracing the elements and making the best of it. A special thank you to everyone who attended or participated in our events—our Summer BBQ & Lawn Party was a particular highlight. The sun really does shine on the righteous!
Partnering with RWYC
It’s been a pleasure continuing our partnership with the Royal Western Yacht Club (RWYC) this year, hosting events like the Devon Yawl Nationals, 4000 Dinghy Championships, Plymouth Race Week, and the Final Fling. These visually spectacular events have become staples in our calendar, and we hope to welcome them back next year.
Don’t forget about the tailored RWYC Berth Holder Membership, designed specifically for our berth holder community. Contact us to find out more.
Winter Preparations
Winter is almost here, and our team has turned its attention to shoreside requirements and site maintenance programmes. As we gear up for the 2025 season, there’s plenty to reflect on from 2024:
Our Team
This year, we welcomed several new faces:
- Isabel, Johnny, Trevor, and Mark joined us over the summer, bringing energy, hard work, and wonderful memories for us all.
- Andy started as our dedicated Maintenance Operative at the beginning of the 2024 season, helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
- In October, Oliver joined as our new Marina Operative. He’s eager to meet everyone and become a friendly, familiar face around the marina.
All these additional hands have really helped our core team focus on enhancing your experience and maximising the benefits of your berthing package.
You can learn more about our team on the Meet the Team board in the marina office or on our website.
