Highlights at Woolverstone Marina and Lodge Park: News and updates for our customers
Another year has flown by, and Christmas is already just around the corner! A huge thank you to all our berth holders and visitors for your continued support.
New Team Members
In 2024, we welcomed two fantastic new members to the Woolverstone team:
- Elliot joined us as a Marina Operative. Passionate about meeting new people and enjoying the great outdoors, Elliot spends his free time hiking, rock climbing, and learning about aviation.
- Adam came on board as our Lodge Park Supervisor. With a strong background in customer service from managing pubs and restaurants — and even living aboard a houseboat — Adam brings a diverse set of skills that will undoubtedly enhance the Woolverstone experience.

We will be carrying out a marina dredge In January 2025, to ensure continued access within the marina and to your individual berth.
What’s New for 2025
We’re excited to introduce several initiatives designed to make your time at Woolverstone Marina even more enjoyable:
- Social Events: We’ll host more events throughout the year, including a berth holders’ party.
- Trolley of Treats: Our popular trolley will return, offering a selection of complimentary refreshments.
- Lodge Discounts: Enjoy up to a 15% discount when booking The Cat House or one of our luxury lodges.
- Marina Improvements: We’ll be introducing new planting and landscaping to create a brighter, more colourful environment.
- Exclusive Benefits: We’re working with local partners and businesses to establish exclusive perks for our berth holders.
Events Calendar
In partnership with the Woolverstone Marina Berth Holders Association, we’ve planned an exciting events calendar for 2025. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and marina noticeboards for updates. If there’s a particular event you’d like to see, let us know via our online form.
2025 Events
- 18th–21st April: CIC to Burnham on Crouch. Saturday dinner at The Swallow Tail and BBQ on Sunday
- 3rd–5th May: CIC to Titchmarsh. Sunday lunch at Frinton & Walton Yacht Club
- 24th–26th May: CIC to Tidemill Yacht Harbour. Saturday dinner at The Cherry Tree and BBQ on Sunday
- 21st June: Holland Trip. Itinerary TBC
- 23rd–25th August: CIC to Bradwell Marina
- 11th–12th October: Harwich Sea Shanty Festival
Festive Season
As Christmas draws near, we’ll have festive treats available at the marina throughout December. If you’re visiting, be sure to stop by and indulge in a treat or two!
