Welcome to Woolverstone Marina Winter News

We’d like to start off by saying a massive thank you to all our berth holders for keeping your boat with us this year, for what has been another busy and memorable season.

Marina Improvements

Over the last few months, we’ve been busy making improvements to the marina. We have recently upgraded our boilers to be more energy efficient and ensure continued hot water supply to the facilities. We have also improved the security on site with a new CCTV system, including more high-definition cameras, and access gates on both bridgeheads. We will be carrying out a full marina dredge In January 2022, to enable continued access within the marina and your individual berth.

New Staff Member

We’re delighted to welcome Victoria Monaghan to the team as a Marina Operative, working night shifts. Victoria has a background in marketing, retail, and baking. She is a keen sailor and is currently renovating her own yacht in preparation for sailing around the world. If you see Victoria on site, please be sure to say hello and introduce yourselves.

Events Calendar

Whilst the pandemic has put a stop on social events, we hope to see them return next year. Keep a look out on our Facebook page and around the marina for details. If you’d like to see a particular event next year, let us know using our online form. Don’t forget you can also join The Even Keel, our online boating community, and organise events and discuss the latest in boating with fellow berth holders.

Christmas is now firmly on the horizon and there will be festive treats at the marina for you to enjoy, so if you’re visiting be sure to pop into the marina office and enjoy a treat with the team. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to another great season ahead!
