Woolverstone Marina and Lodge Park Winter News

We’d like to start off by saying a massive thank you to all our berth holders for berthing with us this year, for what has been another busy and memorable season.

Marina Improvements

Over the last few months, we’ve been busy making improvements to the marina. We’ve recently installed an additional pay-as-you-go electric car charger on the entrance road and upgraded the WiFi across the marina pontoons, providing a faster connection to your boat.

We’ve welcomed two new tenants to Woolverstone Marina and Lodge Park in the last year. Boatshed Suffolk and Suffolk Yacht Services now reside in the brokers office in the main car park. In addition to this, Sail and Cover is now being run by Darren and has been going from strength to strength.

We’ll be carrying out a marina dredge In January 2023, to enable continued access within the marina and your individual berth.

We’ll also be installing new lodges on the eight vacant plots in the Lodge Park. These should be available for bookings from Easter 2023.

New Staff Member

Allan Chesney has joined us as Marina Operative working both Day and Night shifts. Allan has a wealth of nautical experience having been a boatbuilder and grown up on a houseboat converted from a 64ft Fishing trawler. In his spare time, Allan can be found woodturning, tinkering with motorbikes or clay pigeon shooting. If you see Allan around site, please be sure to say hello and introduce yourselves.

Events Calendar

In conjunction with the Woolverstone Marina Berth Holders’ Association, we have a comprehensive events calendar planned for 2023. Keep a look out on our Facebook page and around the marina for details. If you’d like to see a particular event next year, please let us know using our online form.

With Christmas just around the corner, there will be festive treats at the marina during the entire month of December, so if you’re visiting be sure to enjoy a treat or two
