Optima E10

Overview

The Optima e10 is a 10m 100% electric, luxury dayboat/weekender – pushing the boundaries in terms of design, capabilities and styling.

Optima Yachts have designed an ultra-efficient brand of 100% electric motor yachts, with a range of 150 NM, enabling long range cruising in an electric boat and removing the problem of range anxiety. Designed to be 100% electric from concept, the Optima e10 is lightweight and ultra-efficient requiring significantly less energy, enabling easy charging from standard 16 amp shore power found in every marina berth, with the option of rapid DC charging when required.

The Optima e10 provides the efficiency and stability of a multi-hull combined with the more practical beam of a monohull with extremely good sea-keeping and dramatically increased comfort. The e10 has been designed with a large social open cockpit area with seating for up to 8-10 people around a cockpit table – extensive galley, sunbed and double cabin with toilet.

The removal of the conventional engine room creates a large garage for storage and accessories such as SUPs and foiling boards which can be easily charged from the boat. The optional roof provides protection from sun or rain.

Designs are currently being finalised for the 13m version, going into production in 2025 – a luxury cruiser with the same extensive social spaces, 2 double cabins and additional sun bed area on the bow. For the commercial market the 13m hull is being configured for use as a water taxi for up to 12 passengers.
