For those who prefer personalised instruction, Urban Truant provides customised Own Boat Tuition, tailoring training to the specific needs of the owner and crew.

In addition to sailing courses, Urban Truant specialises in powerboat training. They offer RYA courses on school boats, ranging from Start Motor Cruising to Yachtmaster™, as well as Own Boat Tuition for motorboat owners. Their powerboating courses cater to various types of vessels, including RIBs and day fishing boats, ensuring drivers can control their vessels safely and confidently.

Recognising the importance of flexibility in learning, Urban Truant provides online navigation courses through their exclusive 'SailingCourseOnline' portal. This platform allows students to learn at their own pace, with content designed specifically for online study, featuring bite-sized modules, clean graphics, and animations. Experienced shorebased instructors, who are also RYA Yachtmaster Instructors and examiners, are available to assist students throughout their learning journey.
